Slayed my First SM2SM Run, Thanks to Realme!

On February 16, I participated in my first SM2SM Funrun in a 12KM distance. I personally thank realme Philippines for sponsoring my race kit. I clocked in 1 hour and 35 minutes which is not bad for a comeback run. And oh, feasting in a breakfast buffet at Savoy Hotel Mactan Newtown was heaven!

10TH EDITION SM2SM FUNRUN

The SM2SM run celebrated its 10th-year edition last February 16. The run started in SM City Cebu, turned at SM City Seaside Cebu and finished at SM City Cebu. The categories were 21K, 12K, 8K, and 4K. The 21K was released at 3:30 a.m., 12K at 4 a.m., 8K at 4:30 a.m. and 4K at 5 a.m. respectively.

Big Prizes are at stake! Aside from a total of PHP 600,000 in cash prizes to the winners, other prizes were given such as a brand new Chevrolet, gift certificates from hotels and other major sponsors, airline tickets from Cathay Pacific and RealMe phones.

Speaking of realme phones given to some winners, I was fortunate to be sponsored by realme Philippines for a slot on the race. Realme was one of the major sponsors of the event which made it more extravagant in its 10th-year edition. Aside from the Bloggers who ran last SM2SM run, chosen members of the realme Philippines photography community were also sponsored to run for the event. And oh, they just released the much-anticipated realme C3 smartphone last March 5, check out below for inquiries and orders.

February 16 fell on a Sunday and thank God I was invited to a Valentine's Day accommodation on February 15 at Savoy Hotel Mactan Newtown. It was indeed a good and fortunate time since, after the 12K run, I went directly back to the hotel to savor their sumptuous breakfast buffet. It was heaven!
