Last Saturday, a route inspection was initiated by the Cobra Ironman 70.3 Philippines organizers and indeed, Cebu especially the City of Lapu-Lapu, is now ready for the big sporting event on August 3, 2014 (Sunday). This " 1.9 KM Swim - 90 KM Bike - 21.1 KM Run " Race is breaking it's record as it is expected to be participated by 2,500 triathletes from 40 countries around the world. Witness the 90-km bike course on major roads like the ML Quezon Avenue in Lapu-lapu City, Marcelo Fernan Bridge, North Reclamation Area, S. Osmeña highway and the SRP stretching to Talisay City. While the 1.9 km swim will traverse the Hilutungan Strait and ended with the 21km-run in Punta Engano.
