Healthy Eating Over Holidays, Christmas and New Year

And I'm back! I was indulged into overeating when CFB joined the Cebu Food Crawl by Cebu Bloggers Society in the past weekend. But as of this time, I am currently in my third day of cutting Carbs in my eating habit as I need to be healthy and fit again.  So, what would be my plan for this coming Christmas and New Year? I know this time of the year is dubbed as ultimate cheat season ever. Now. here's my Four-Points Plan for two weeks starting this week.

1. Cut Carbs intake during heavy meals. No Corn or Rice during lunch and dinner. I can get corn as part of post-workout meal. And of course, focus on fibers and whole grain.
2. Drink a lot of Water. Drink cold water. According to the editorial staff at WebMD, drinking ice cold water helps boost your metabolism because your body has to work harder to warm the water up, therefore burning more calories and helping you to lose weight. (Gaiam.com)

3. Don't forget fruits in your meal and snacks. Here are some fruits you can enjoy during holidays which can help you shed some weight. Examples are Apple, Bananas, Blueberries, Pears, Starberries, Kiwi, Grapefruit, Coconut, Oranges, among others.
4. Sweat Out. It's Holiday! No work or school meaning we could give at least an hour of our time for an early jog or go to gym to sweat out.

And During NocheBuena and MediaNoche meals, please do not stop yourself from eating a lot (if you can still have more) . They are the only meals that you can satisfy your cravings but make sure no Gluttony allowed.

Enjoy your Holidays Folks!!!
