Fluid Intake During Workout, Try Cohen Program in Cebu

Every time I work out, around 2-3 hours every M-W-F of the week, I always make sure to bring a liter of water not because it is part of my gym outfit but basically I need it. So, why do we need water or fluid into our body? Water is indeed essential for our body's growth and maintenance. It helps us in lessen if not eliminate basic sickness like fever, cough ..among others.


So What fluids are needed in our body? Per bcc.co.uk, the body gets its fluid from three sources:

  • Drinks, either plain water or as part of other beverages including tea, coffee and squash 
  • Solid foods, especially fruit and vegetables (even foods such as bread and cheese provide small amounts of fluid) 
  • As a by-product of chemical reactions within the body 
Take note that Water's lost from the body through urine and sweat, a must be replaced through the diet. If you don't consume enough you can become dehydrated, causing symptoms such as headaches, tiredness and loss of concentration. Generally, always put taking in fluid in your daily diet.
